Hi blogging world! Did ya miss me? Sorry I’ve been M.I.A., but I’ve had an eventful summer. I recently got a new job, which I’m loving, as well as a new apartment, which I also love. Moving can be a long process, especially when you’re having internet troubles like I was having, so all in all, my summer has been crazy. Plus it’s summer, so can you blame me for wanting to spend as much of my time outdoors? Come on, being in Seattle these are the only months of sunshine I’ll get!
Anyways, since summer’s not over yet, I want to take advantage of all the summer events and festivities, this includes food! While it doesn’t get quite as hot as other parts of the country, we’ve been having a hot streak here in the Pacific Northwest (hot streak meaning around 85 degrees). So even though it’s not sweltering hot, it’s still warm enough for us Seattlites to indulge in some frozen treats. Can someone say ‘ice cream’?!
As far as vegan desserts go, ice cream is an easy one to execute. There is no baking required, and with all the dairy alternatives, there is a lot of variety when it comes to creating a delicious frozen concoction.
I’ve been searching the web for great vegan ice creams to try, and came up with a list to satisfy any foodie, even the non-vegan ones. Some of these are quite sinful, but hey, it’s ice cream so what do you expect? There are even some healthier options, using minimal ingredients all derived from nature. So go ahead, indulge in these tasty vegan delights!
